while everything that you write everywhere is only your assumption, you have never provided facts anywhere.Īnd if I take it correctly, you are not playing with your words, but you have been sitting on the forum for almost a year and whine and whine how bad they are. in every topic you whine like a child that NQ is doing badly. Just because you so want to and throw off other players who have been playing with sweat and blood all this time? I don't understand you at all, you contradict yourself The second is that just now you say that you want to erase, but do not want to lose talent points and all buildings will be returned to you by magic blueprints, then what is the essence of erasing, mister? And not who spend every day throughout the year. You want to erase because you are not playing. This is almost the stupidest thing I've ever read. Points accrued since start of "beta" will be returned to the pool I think, and you wil receive blueprints for your constructs. While I believe a wipe is going to happen, I do also expect that Talent points will not be lost. Adding skillpoints to a new alt (of course you will 'refer' your alts) just reduces the amount of training time required for the alt to become 'useful' (you can train passive mining skills instantly, for example). People will very likely start farming large numbers of alts which generate money through mission running, passive ore miners, or whatever and these will partially fund themselves. Talent points for new players, sadly, are something I think would get exploited when DAC (DU's equivalent of a plex) becomes a thing. You have seen the recent Q&A video, right? A talent point bonus when using a referral link (like EVE does) woudl also not be a bad idea. This would not affect more experienced players at all. I would like to see the NPE give higher talent point reward to allow new players to make choices and progress on the basic talents a tad faster. While the xisting world in DU has many problems and has accrued a good bit of damage from not dealing with exploits very well, the talent system is not one fo those. Seeing how NQ copied the talent system EVE uses pretty much, it is trivial to get a character to a fairly well defined set of skills. The arguyment that new players need a chance to "catch up" is really not relevant here. Hope it helps gets a few more boxers into Classic.Doubt there will ever be another full wipe. This may be noted elsewhere, but I didn't see it on 1st search. On the retail screen it showed me that my main account's game time had been extended for 30 days. I then added a subscription for those 2 new accounts, logged back in to retail and I was immediately able to select the 1st and 2nd RAF rewards (a pet and 30 days free game time). So I just used the referral link to create 2 new WoW accounts within my existing Battle Net account. I've been paying for 3 subs for years now, but figured I'd get back into 5-boxing on Classic. I personally didn't have any expired accounts that were eligible. Here you can generate a link to send to someone else or to use yourself. Then select the tab for "Refer a Friend", and click the button at the bottom for "Recruitment". So yes, if you're a Classic only player, you have to create a level 1 char on Retail, then log-in and hit "O" to bring up the Friend List. Additionally once your referrals have added game time to their accounts, you have to log-in to retail to collect the reward as well. The RAF user interface to invite others or to invite your own alt accounts is only in Retail. This works because everyone with a Classic account automatically has a Retail account - or vice versa depending on your point of view. Specifically once your referral(s) have created or resurrected their accounts and added 2, 5, 8 and 11 months worth of game time to their account, then you get a free month of game time on your account - this free month applies to both Retail and Classic (all of the cosmetic rewards - mounts, pets, etc, will only be added to your Retail account). But that doesn't mean that Classic only players cannot get some of the benefits from the Retail RAF - you can still get the free game time for referring others or for referring yourself. Note that WoW Classic does not technically have RAF by itself, only Retail WoW does.
